Title: Teaching Artists and Pianists
Kids Excel El Paso, a local non-profit arts education organization, is seeking employment candidates to participate in our annual Teacher Training Residency. Applicants should have a strong knowledge of dance (ballet, tap, jazz, flamenco, and/or modern), piano, love of children, possess an animated personality, have a strong work ethic, and the desire to use their talents to make an impact on the lives of underserved children. Performance experience is a plus.
Over the course of the training residency, participants will learn the award-winning teaching pedagogy of the National Dance Institute (NDI), founded by former New York City Ballet principal dancer Jacques d’Amboise. These life-changing and inspirational teaching techniques are used around the world and have impacted the lives of more than 3 million children since NDI was founded in 1976.
Following the conclusion of the training residency, qualified applicants will be considered for employment for the 2022-2023 school year. Kids Excel offers competitive wages relative to the minimum wage in the market.
*Kids Excel partner school districts conduct background checks on contract employees prior to the start of the program. All Kids Excel employees are required to submit to a fingerprint/background check.
