  Staff          
Jacqueline Barragan is a proud native to the border town of El Paso. She received her bachelor in Anthropology and minor in dance at the University of Texas at El Paso in 2006. She began dancing at the age of three starting with tap and ballet and grew to explore many other dance modalities including modern, jazz, hip-hop, break dancing, capoeira, Balinese dancing, middle eastern belly dancing, and African dance. She wishes to elaborate her knowledge and travel to study much more dance from around the world. She believes dance, like music, is a global language that has the ability to break borders and create beauty within ourselves and society. For this she feels blessed to be a part of Kids Excel El Paso.
