Wendy has performed center stage and cast leading roles in popular films and television programs. Following her graduation from Oklahoma City University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Performing Arts, Wendy moved to New York City where she spent the next five years performing in various productions on Broadway, in European Broadway tours and regional theatres throughout the New York area. After hanging up her dance shoes, Wendy spent four years casting for television and feature films in New York City. Her projects included the hit NBC series “Law & Order”, feature films, including “Bad Company”, “The Way of the Gun”, “For Love of the Game” and various Hallmark Hall of Fame and Hallmark Movies of the Week. Leaving New York she headed to Dallas, Texas where she taught dance at the Arts Magnet High School, Booker T. Washington, and also cast independent films and a Public Service Announcement for Gilda Radner’s Cancer Support Club, “Gilda’s Club”. Wendy moved to El Paso in January 2003. She cast extras on the feature film “The Day After Tomorrow”, filmed in El Paso. She currently is the Director of Theatres for the El Paso Convention & Performing Arts Centers. Presently she is working on the Grand Opening of the Plaza Theatre Performing Arts Centre, which is due to be open in Early 2006. Wendy is a member of the Actor’s Equity Association, Women in Film and a Board member for Kids Excel El Paso.
