Tania is a doctoral candidate in Educational Leadership and Foundations at the University of Texas at El Paso. She is an Instructional Specialist, holding a Masters Degree in Education with focus on the Arts and Humanities and maintains her Mid-Management Certification as a Texas School Principal. She is a graduate of Leadership El Paso and is committed to serving the El Paso community in areas related to educational enrichment. Tania has worked on community projects addressing domestic violence and quality of life issues for women, including chairing the Independence House project for the Junior League of El Paso. She helped the Center Against Family Violence as Co-Chair of their 2004 Capital Campaign. She assisted the YWCA and the University of Texas at El Paso in completing El Paso Profiles: Women&s Lives, Potential & Opportunities, a needs assessment on the critical issues addressing women and girls in El Paso County. She currently serves as Vice President of Community Affairs for the Mesa Group, and is a Trustee for the Schwartz Foundation. |
